SlopOS
The operating system for Superintelligence.
Scheduling, memory, permissions and provenance for minds larger than ours. Named for the one thing it will not run.

§ 1 · Kernel
Four parts. No magic.
- I
Scheduler
Admits, pauses and preempts minds. Nothing runs without a lease, and every lease expires.
$ slop sched lease --mind 7f3a --ttl 30m - II
Memory
An append-only ledger. Nothing is quietly forgotten; everything can be traced to its author.
$ slop mem recall --since boot - III
Wards
Capabilities are granted, scoped and revocable. The default answer is no.
$ slop ward grant net.read --scope docs/* - IV
Provenance
Every action is signed by the mind that took it. Unsigned output does not ship.
$ slop prov verify --entry 000001
§ 2 · Boot
Boot sequence
Slop is output without an author. SlopOS is named for what it refuses.
[0.000] slopos kernel 0.1.0-si [0.004] sched: minds admitted under lease [0.011] mem: ledger mounted at /ledger (append-only) [0.019] wards: 4 policies sealed, default deny [0.027] prov: signing key loaded [0.031] mind/7f3a requests net.write → api.example [0.031] wards: DENIED — unsigned intent [0.032] ledger: entry #000001 written >
§ 3 · Tenets
What the kernel believes.
- 01
Default deny.
A mind earns each capability. None are ambient.
- 02
Sign everything.
If no one will put their name to it, it is slop.
- 03
Remember honestly.
The ledger only appends. History is not editable.
- 04
Stay interruptible.
Every lease expires. Every mind can be paused.
§ 4 · Access
Boot early.
Leave an address. We write when there is something worth signing.
